Another image from the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. There were 6 people and an easel in the frame that Lightroom removed without a hiccup. This AI almost feels like cheating.

Allows Edits? YesWonderful artwork. I honestly don’t think we have any churches that do this type of thing here in Australia. I always thought it was Europe and South America and parts of the Middle East.

Greek Orthodox Churches are unusual in the US and it’s the Orthodox that churches are most likely to use the distinctive iconographic style. It brings to mind the use of stained glass in early Renaissance European Cathedrals–picture to tell the various Bible stories that many of their communities couldn’t read at the time.
