      Yes, been all over the east and south of this Great Nation, been to so many parts of the world and the only times out west was NTC in California. Flew over the Grand Canyon once and since we were only at about 1,500 feet, got a great view. But I have not personally/privately traveled west of Kansas.

    I’m pretty sure its the core of a decaying mountain once at the bottom of a sea, looking at other formations in the area and their altitude , I would guess there is a lot more to this formation under ground.

      Sounds very reasonable considering that a lot of North America was underwater a long time ago. Nice shot of an interesting feature!
