Thanks Patrick, I have more to post that will show the desert, I got a bit excited with the close ups as I got within 3 meters of these animals without them taking off, usually if you’re within a kilometer of them they  are on the run . This family group of four was really curious about me.

How lucky finding these! Great set of photos, is the colouring on the male common?

Thanks Diane, as to his coloring , I’ve been around horses 60 plus years and have never before seen one colored like him. He is a very special horse for other reasons as well that I’ll explain later.
