  Just some nice clouds I saw sitting out watching a ball game last summer. Not near the caliber of @justian but a good effort.

  Wow, some incredible cloud formations here people! I’m pretty sure I’ve not seen most of them in the wild… Great idea for a throwdown @justian!
  This was Lake Tahoe September 2013. After a quick google these are are most like Lenticular form. Can anyone confirm?!

  Noticed that the local Yahoo internet news feed had a story of an amazing storm with a dramatic cloud self that rolled through Sidney today. Did anybody get any pictures? I saw some of the pictures on Yahoo, it looked like a great storm for an outing.

  @rsman2012, It was a cracker short storm. I was sitting on my computer when it flashed over and didnt think to go and check it out. My buddy up the street (Brett Nielson / Nielson Images) caught a couple of cracker shots though. He lives at the top of the hill and his balcony looks over the bay next door to me, so he caught a glimps of it coming over and bolted down to the bay and snapped this awesome shot!

  Heading up to the Observatory at Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, my wife and I catch this cloud formation rolling in over the terrain like a tsunami. I wish I had captured it in RAW. It could use some post-production work. Date: 4-26-2014
