My wife caught this little guy in a jelly jar, for me to photograph. She was trying to be helpful, I was trying to sleep. Oh well, I gave him a drop of honey to sip on while I got setup on the dining room table. I cut a firebrush blossom from the vine he had been feeding on and propped it up in a soldering vise. I use an LED light ring and ISO 250 at f/7.1 and 1/25sec with a Nikkor 40mm micro. PP in Skylum PS and Topaz AI. He was released back into the wild after the shot.
