    There are quite a few tunnels in Iceland where this image was taken. Can’t remember exactly which one it was but most of them are 7 km or more long. Thanks.

  Great catch, Rob. Just seeing how small the exit/entrance is next to the mountain fills me with awe about all the digging and blasting, leaving such a peaceful sight.

    The tunnels in Iceland are pretty interesting. They’re mostly one lane with pullouts. Vehicles going one direction have the right of way. If that’s not you, watching for approaching headlights is critical. The length of 7 to 10 km is awesome. Thanks.
