Visions of a Crazy Woman

Taken form the bottom of Crazy Woman Canyon, If you re familiar with the story of Jeremiah Johnson its named for that Crazy Woman, if not look it up and watch it, very good movie.
Cropped to a 16:9 format there is a narrow wall space in the hallway of the senior housing where my wife’s aunt lives where this will hang.

Love the vertical format here Robert and amazing details on the trees and rocks. The trees on top of the rocks look really tiny. Such a grand view this is! 🙂

The vertical format adds to the drama, stunning shot, it’s going to look great big on a wall! I’ve Googled the film, it looks interesting, I’ll have to watch it! 🙂

Thanks @tersha, it is probably one of Reford’s best performances, and a fairly accurate depiction of the history of the period, one of my favorites, and the fact it literally took place where I live is a bonus for me.

Looks like an amazing place to be Robert. You sure live in a landscape photographers dream location. Hope they don’t put a plaque saying ‘Crazy Woman’ when they hang it in the senior housing?
