The last of the four elements, fire, appropriately left for this “fire-filled” weekend here in the US. Let’s see what fire brings to our photography!

Interesting work @tersha, did you put gas/fuel on the ground?

@tersha, thank you 🙂 It was a wonderful night and experience indeed. I just tried a normal poi once when I visited a museum in Auckland, it’s quite fun, but the fire makes it magic and it’s nice to show the paths of the poi via photography.

Beautiful images here! Something I don’t have much experience with. I took this at a Nepalese wedding a few months back. The fire symbolized purification.

@karamen, what an interesting ceremony thanks for sharing! I think you captured a nice moment of the wedding. The hands get a beautiful red tint from the fire.

f4 @30th, ISO-5000, 32mm. I was getting to grips with a new camera and thinking ISO-5000 was quite daring. Today, I would push it rather higher! Hand held.

The weekend’s over and I’ve missed it, again, but “Working with Fire” reminded me that we had seen a demonstration of “fire spinning” a couple of years ago. Here are 2 images:
