Nice pic Mike! I like how the kid is a step behind and the shadow appears to have the kid letting go. Almost as if to say, “I got this, dad.” Emotional.

The paint job is what caught my eye initially. Then when reviewing the shots of the day I noticed how the door, window and light fixture shadows added just enough depth to keep the image from looking flat.

Nice Rob. It makes me feel as if the small shutters can be closed voluntarily from the inside but the bug one (the shadow) is something that will be closed by a force on the outside. A little scary.

I “collect” windows and doors and this is a wonderful window shot. I think I like seeing only the partial window as it leaves a question as to what was not included in the image.

So many fantastic images in this thread.  Wish I could comment on all. This is another building near the World Trade Center in NYC. Took a chance shooting into the light – what appears to be a human form is a reflection. But a human form looking down on the place of destruction, could be an appropriate vision. Color and one in B/W
