High key photography uses unnaturally bright lighting to blow out most or all harsh shadows in an image. Rob (Admin) put up a post that was very inspiring, so I thought it was time for a Challenge.

Yep. A bronze just outside a little café where we had lunch in Joseph Oregon. Parked cars just to the left and signs on the wall to the right. A very “downtown” setting. 🙂

Her hauntingly dark eyes adds a bit of spookiness too I think.

“example of what happens when one forgets to reset settings.”

Been there done that.  🙂  I prefer the B&W myself.  Abandoned farm machinery makes great subject matter.

Maine State animal. You did it proud. They can be majestic and mean, gawky and graceful. I think they were made from “left over parts”!

Have never seen “the arch” from this angle – wonderful curves, lines, geometry and framing in this image.

Thanks Pat!  This was the first time I actually got to stop and explore the arch.  It’s quite an impressive structure up close.

I agree with Pat. Great angle to shoot from. Image has a very futuristic look to it.

Hi Key truly emphasizes the graceful lines intersected by the strong vertical lines. Very appealing

Very interesting floating effect Diane. I can picture a redoing of paintings with this as the instrument angels are playing.
