          They are a couple, who I photographed. I told them where to stand for lighting purposes then told them to ignore me and be themselves. I got some really special photos of the two of them. They were photographed in natural, low light.

          It’s close to the village where I live. It is a 5 km tour that passes through fields and pastures, and through a forest. Very nice and pleasant in all seasons.

        I really like this image, and I have come back to it several times. I like the deep black of the background contrasted against the cards, which are wonderfully detailed and sharp. I like the way the white from the ace reflects slightly onto the king, creating a bit of a highlight, but the ace also casts a very slight shadow on the left of the king.
