      Ok Tom and Pat, the thought is provoking and the post intended to be so (shame on me). I´m not going to overwhelm you with a long lecture on ecological balance, but I eat meat, perhaps not precisely the lambs I take pictures of. I stay away from beef, poultry and pork because those are mostly produced by industrial farming with all the cruelty imaginable. The lambs here in Iceland live a happy life for one wonderful summer, roaming free in the mountains with their mothers before they end on our dishes. If nobody ate them except the ravens and the foxes then not so many of them would be born.

      Thank you very much Elin , i walked it to this spot about 7 miles from home up over the hills all for a shot of a pair of tufted Duck , i got the ducks and this little one came out of nowhere even for a round trip of about 14 miles it felt well worth it :).
