Very nice image Wendy , gorgeous scene and beautiful contrast 🙂

[Wendy P]

Thanks Patrick. I don’t often do black and white!

[Deidra White]

Great shot Wendy. The contrast and different textures work well together.

I really like this frame, Wendy – mysterious, “dark” and foreboding.

[Wendy P]

Nice work. Deidra. Good to see you again!

[Deidra White]

Thanks Wendy! Life has been crazy this past year. The good news is that I had my spinal fusion and decompression surgery about 10 months ago so I can finally carry my camera and hike again without extreme pain. Hooray!

[Tersha]

Nice shot Deidra. Really good to see you back, and glad to hear that you are fit and well.

[Patrick]

Hi Deidra , this 2nd photo i like it a lot and could not resist having a look at it with an old matte type mono edit and WOW ( personal opinion of course ) such a beautiful melancholy atmosphere in this scene , Might be worth keeping yourself a color and mono Version both look lovely i think.

[Deidra White]

Thank you Patrick! I love black and white landscapes but I often forget to play with it more. I think it’s because in the moment I’m setting up the frame I’m drawn to the scene because of the colors. I’ll definitely play with a black and white version of it.

Beautiful Michael. I love the color contrast and silhouettes in this shot.

[Michael]

Thank you, Diedra.

[Patrick]

This one got me daydreaming , so yeah it hit it works 🙂

[Robert Apple]

Thanks for your comments Patrick, were you day dreaming of freezing to death, it was around -25deg F that day, or -32deg C in your world,  just plain Fing cold, the Sun Dog is formed by sunlight refracting through minute ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Black and white are the colors of photography. To me, they symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is forever subjected – Robert Frank

@frogdaily Just to say i don’t see your photo , might just be me but wanted to say just in case 🙂

[Frogdaily]

Thank you Patrick, I tried to edit and repost it .  Hopefully it shows up

[Patrick]

If you are able to see it on your side Belinda then just ignore me ( could be my side ) But just to say i still don’t see anything .. Hope it is only me 🙂

@frogdaily

[Frogdaily]

I do see it on my end, however, I went ahead and made the image smaller – maybe that’s the problem, I couldn’t edit this post or delete it so tried reposting with the smaller image .  Thanks for the heads up.

[Frogdaily]

[Patrick]
