[Patrick]

[davidc]

[Patrick]

An old shot mate , Cheers

[Pat Garrett]

Ahhhh @davidc – looks to me like the aliens landed in Patrick’s neighborhood.

[Richard Flapper]

[davidc]

like the textures here, great shot!

[Patrick]

[davidc]

Reminds me of one of those little sliding block game we used to get in lucky bags. you had to slide the tiles about to get the picture, but there was only one space to move a tiles into. super shot.

[Patrick]

Yeah i know that little puzzle it frustrated me many times growing up lol, thank you David

[Pat Garrett]

I had one too!

[Patrick]

[Pat Garrett]

Is this a water bicycle?

[Patrick]

Yes Pat 2 of them 🙂

[Pat Garrett]

I saw a picture of them and they look scary.

[Patrick]

[Robert Apple]

Thanks Patrick

[Patrick]

Richard you made my day mate thank you so much glad it works for you 🙂

[Patrick]

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Is this a painting or print or something?

[Patrick]

Just a overexposed frame mate , a bhoy in the river as it is an abstract theme this week

[davidc]

Great stuff Patrick. Now I can’t throw over exposed photos away, have to look at them through different eyes. More work!!!!!

Seriously, real good work!

[Patrick]

That is very kind David many thanks mate 🙂

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Oh wow, that is super creative – very cool.

[Patrick]

Very kind Rob thanking you 🙂

[Tersha]

[Robert Apple]

These look like something James Bond would scatter on the road behind an Austin Martin.

[Tersha]

🙂

[Pat Garrett]

Or mini Viking spike ball clubs….

[Tersha]

[davidc]

Two super images. What is the first one?

[Tersha]

Thanks David. The first one was turned on a lathe by my partner. Its not anything particular, but its tricky to do, and looks good. 🙂

@davidc

[Pat Garrett]

[Tersha]

Great set Pat, all really good!

[Pat Garrett]

Thanks, Diane.

[Pat Garrett]

[Pat Garrett]

[Patrick]

Thank you Pat , defo got lucky finding this one 🙂

[davidc]

This is so cool!!!! How many exposures?

[Patrick]

Thank you David , Just a single image with my phone

[davidc]

That’s very well executed. Great find.

[Patrick]

100 percent luck mate i just need to stand in the right place haha 🙂

[Tersha]

[davidc]

This is so beautiful!!

[Tersha]

Thanks David.

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

That is a fantastic entry.

[Pat Garrett]

Wonderful image, DIane. Unique POV for the sunflower. It made me chuckle – looks like a polishing/buffing head my husband would use to polish cars!

[Tersha]

Thanks Pat, I see what you mean it does look like that! 🙂

[Robert Apple]

That’s a pretty cool shot Diane, seems like there was a recent throwdown you could have posted it in as well.

[Tersha]

Thanks Robert, I’ll go there now! 🙂

[Pat Garrett]

Birds on a High Wire

[davidc]

Could be sea birds. 😀 super image.

[Pat Garrett]

Thanjs @davidc. Nope they were common pigeons on a wire high above the water and this was their reflection

[Tersha]

Clouds in the pond

[davidc]

Do you think the fish are avoiding the clouds? Very nice tone in this one!

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Nicely spotted.

[Patrick]

By The Light Of The Silvery Moon

[Tersha]

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Oh nice – this is one of those places I would be going back to over and over and over. I reckon they’re about 100 shots inside that single one that I would want to take.

[Pat Garrett]

Lights behind a patterned “privacy” door

[Robert Apple]

Interesting Pat, looks like a Dandelion in the seeding stage. Cool effect.

[Pat Garrett]

@robertapple. Yes it does look like dandy seeds. When I first saw it all I could think of was President George H. Bush and his “Thousand Points of Light”.  Funny how some things just stick with you.

[davidc]

Wow!!! Very cool shot indeed, one could say sparkling!

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Nice one, Pat – I also thought it was a dandelion phgoto

[LightandShadow]

Yes. The image itself and your original vision stand independent of the various metaphors you and others associate with it. Very well done!

[LightandShadow]

Perhaps too obvious. Something I see and do on a fairly regular basis and I’m not the only one either.

[Jeff]

[Patrick]

Cool street shot Jeff

[Jeff]

Thanks, Patrick!

[Rob Wood (Admin)]

Very interesting shot – @jeffjeswald

How did you actually take the shot?

[Jeff]

Thanks, Rob. I shot this on an old Minolta SRT101 loaded with Phoenix II. I came across a storefront in the West Village here in NYC that was under construction. I thought the dirty window made for an interesting and textured reflection of the shop across the street. Then I just had to wait for someone to pass by.

[Patrick]

Lovely to read how you made this photo , there is something very special in its feel 🙂

[Jeff]

Appreciate that, Patrick! I’m quite new to this so its really nice to hear some positive feedback.

[Patrick]

You have no worries there keep em coming anytime mate 🙂

[Dahlia Ambrose]

This is a very abstract street photo Jeff and very beautiful 🙂

[Jeff]

Thank you, Dahlia!
