Great composition, David.  I take lots of shots of bridge & expressway construction, and I’ve never seen a road underbelly with these cool ridges.   Plus you have flowers and graffiti!

An impressive image Pat. I rarely use a phone camera, the results just don’t work for me. I may have to have another try!

Thank you @stevet    I used to think that way about smartphone photography, but I took a course and was surprised at what I thought I knew – but didn’t. They are especially good for night shots, but I never expected I’d get anything decent of the milky way

Beautiful shot!  How did you get the light in the foreground?

Thank you @hkurtz2. I crouched down to get the edge of the hayfield in the shot. Behind me a ways was a street light which gave me a shadow and the golden color of the hay (which was actually green). The phone was in “Night Mode” and that was the result. I focused half on upper edge of hay line and up to the milky way. The phone did the exposure on the hay – no intervention from me.

Thanks, @robertapple! A “weed sprayer”, eh? I never knew. This was about a mile from my house near Wooldridge, Missouri. It was stuck, sinking there, for a least 2 years before they finally hauled it off.

I really enjoyed looking at this enlarged, John.  I’ve never seen gear like this.  I wonder if it sprays from those odd hanging beige contraptions hanging over the cab, Robert?

@annehornsby – I’ve seen similar. The “arms” tucked alongside the top of the truck would fold out like wings and the weed kller or water would spray out of them as the truck moved along the rows

Those are marking tubes to mark the area sprayed, all along the boom are spray nozzles spaced at the width of the nozzles pattern.
Here is a much smaller unit at work treating the ground around railroad tracks.

This is the ancient Taos Pueblo (NM) – a place where early civilization rose from the high desert mud.

The main Taos village in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. A magical experience!

Ok, this is the one actually in Taos Pueblo City, The Natives refer to it as “The Place of The Red Willows. I’ve been to literally 1000’s of cultural sites, but not this one, It’s sort of the Disney Land of Native America operated mainly as a tourism site, complete with shuttles to and from the tribal Casino / Hotel these days.I was working with archeologists as a guide back then and it didn’t make Their List. Not to disparage it in any way as a cultural learning site.
