The rain had just started and people had started to rush past this backdrop and was too way to busy lots of overlapping going on and then it cleared as the girl passed and lots of empty space, right time right place plays a big chunk in this find.

I was praying that the flat cap man would turn and face my direction and when he did it was a moment of joy tbh Pat , it is true if your not out there shooting then you don’t get them.

The little thin piece it has gripped is so delicate adds a ton of interest for me , very much like the dragonfly or damsel , lovely one :).

Cool Stefanie, looks like a Roseate skimmer, one of my favorite Dragon flies, they can consume twice their own weight in mosquitos a day.

Michael , potw or no potw this is a SOLID frame , my awe at seeing sunrises and sunsets passed long before i took up photography but when one as good as this is made it nice to let the shooter know 🙂 your vision translates.

That’s a lovely scene Patrick, but when you shoot color it makes me nervous, like in the near future I’ll be watching the BBC and they will be interviewing your neighbors and they will be making comments like “He was always such a Quiet Fellow”

This was very early in my photo making  , i was desperate to go some place in nature to test a lens i had bought , my sister and her hubby were heading to this place so i jumped in the car and  made the most of it ,  like most beginners at that time i was wanting to shoot everything in sight haha , still learning but much more relaxed now 🙂
