I don´t use to use pluggins in photoshop….but after i read your article i tried with “portrait” and i must say that i like it!
This is an example of a photo procesed (just a little) with this pluggin.

I use Digimarc and the PhotoTools suite, which I’m learning and using frequently. Now I’ll read the article. john

like olivares i never used pluggins. that is i discoverd Nik Software. for the past two years they have become an integral part of my work-flow. unlike many plugins, these don’t mimic or streamline what one can already do in PS. they offer new enhanced functionality that is on a par with PS itself.

I LOVE Nik Software plug-ins. My new fav is their HDR effex. Along with Silver effex I use these 2 the most.

I like the ones put out by xero, particularly the “porcelain” plugin.
I also like Toadies “onion skin” not that it’s good for a lot of applications but once in a while you get a great result from it.
