A few weeks ago, we did an article on free Photoshop plugins that has been hugely popular.

        http://www.lightstalking.us/free-photoshop-plugins

I was just wondering which ones we missed. What are the main ones you guys use?

I use Digimarc and the PhotoTools suite, which I’m learning and using frequently. Now I’ll read the article. john
Well, I just read thru the article – Wire Worm sounds quite wonderful…. I’ll give it a try. john, again

like olivares i never used pluggins. that is i discoverd Nik Software. for the past two years they have become an integral part of my work-flow. unlike many plugins, these don’t mimic or streamline what one can already do in PS. they offer new enhanced functionality that is on a par with PS itself.

I LOVE Nik Software plug-ins. My new fav is their HDR effex. Along with Silver effex I use these 2 the most.

I just discovered a new one called mura cloud22 which looks fun but I would not be without my Nik suite… its lets you go b/w with ease and sharpen with aplomb. Add vignettes and duotones and even do dumb stuff like…

I like the ones put out by xero, particularly the “porcelain” plugin.

I also like Toadies “onion skin” not that it’s good for a lot of applications but once in a while you get a great result from it.

Nik Software always seems to get a good wrap in any article or online resource about PS plugins.
