  Great title for a brilliant shot Beth. Well caught. Although its head looks like eschar after a 3rd degree burn, I find it beautiful in all its monstrosity. The European stork is boring by comparison, Babies may not share my taste 😉

    Could this have been caught up in the wildfires , i don;t know it’s range or how close your shooting place is to the awful fires this last number of years ? Curious as ever 🙂
