I’m having trouble differentiating the tractor’s grill, headlights and motor from the barn.
They look disjointed from the rest of the tractor, and almost look like they are part of the front of the barn. It to me looks like the barn has a black door with a door step and two lights.

yes the wording of the museum gets lost in not only the background but also by the background being too dark. I don’t mind the blown out sun, but the exposure balance is wrong. Foreground is fresh and clean b/g is dark n dirtyCheck It Out

Hi
In relation to composition, this shot IMO doesn’t work at all. Fragments of every element and nothing to hold or direct attention. Its not vertically str8 and the textures aren’t contrasty enough. I think you needed to bob down and maybe have the whole chain as the feature element. Odd choice of crop too..Check It Out

Sorry but its too snappy IMO.
Perhaps try a different time of day,, morning/evening, and as said get more interest in the door way..try maybe also blending a second exp+2 shot…
Whack it into lightroom (if available) and have a play around.

@jpninanjohn I agree with you but that was the opportunistic shot that was on the run..Post prod can bring the yellow background down..bit of selective brush to reduce a combo of either saturation, lightness or sharpness.Check It Out

I’m new here ..so reviewing older stuff….so bare with me please ..I always got in trouble at uni for finding “issues”
I have a paradigm…”subject or scene” this is I believe the latter…
I would love to have seen this in landscape format..so yeah why portrait?Check It Out

….or load it into Lightroom (if available) and use the “punch preset” and then adjust according to taste.
Nice capture..I think the colours are true to reality and a dry arid environment Sort of thing that you may see in NG..I love the space where you left the bird to land.
For some reason I prefer the first image..not sure why…Check It Out

I actually really get this image. For my taste though.. I would crop in tighter right an top proportionately removing some background as well as cutting the top of the head off a bit..
Nice lightingCheck It Out

I agree with OP, i quite like the brilliance of the sky on the right.. If I may suggest, do some more post prod on this, and the first thing to do is to flip it horizontally..Also if you were to maybe try a vintage look an feel the brightness on the now left side will have a great light leak effect.. Also with those settings maybe stop it down…[Read more]

not much appeal for me..visually imo misses the mark, no soul nor wow..sorry for being harsh..I think in this instance that a greater dof may have added to it.
The blown out highlights are symptomatic of a hi ev range. If you are using RAW you can recover these probably. If jpeg they are probably gone for good.
Alternatively a flag or…[Read more]

ok,, so I’m being picky too..
I going to get slammed when I finally post some of my own work!!! but hey that’s why I’m here
BUT,, first impression is that its two images stuck together..
Specifically because there appears to be a vertical subject line at the right 2/5th composed of the flat right side of that cloud, the right mountain…[Read more]

Nice mood captured
I agree that way too much foreground. If you were to crop the bottom up to the nearest edge of the path, then you’d have a more comfortable aspect as well as stronger leading lines, also consider adding a subtle dark grad at the top of the frame to prevent the eye wandering out of the frame.
Nice camera BTWCheck It Out

My biggest issue is composition..Not a fan of dead centre sunset..Too much foreground..not enuf ocean..So would have panned left a little and shoot from a bit higher.Check It Out

really cute.
Had you considered straightening the background, which is also a bit busy for me, and yeah the shadows bit intense…you loose pickles left ear!!
Nice WB if this was intended.
