Our new dog (the one in the centre), a bit of a rescue case, she’d been chained up for several weeks unable to move around properly and this was her first time running free..Check It Out

Thanks for the feedback! Seems like a softer background might help with limiting distractions from the dandelion..Check It Out

I really like the colours and atmosphere of the shot, very cool! But I’m not sure what the focus of the shot is supposed to be. My eyes seem to want it to be the cenotaph but they are distracted by the activity in the rest of the frame. I guess it depends on what your intention is, if you want a street scene then maybe devote less of the frame…[Read more]

I really like the colours and feel of this shot. But I’m not sure if the focus is the seaweed in the foreground or the structure in the background, they seem to be competing. I agree that the picture would work better without the seaweed with just those lovely diagonal ripples.Check It Out

This is a shot of some dead St Johns Wort. I took it from above looking down on the plant and called it flowers in heaven in reference to the saying that when weeds die, surely they became flowers in heaven.. I’m not sure if it works or not or if I like it.. I’m interested to hear what others think..Check It Out

Thanks all! This is my first attempt at low key photography and I’m pretty happy with this one. @aarongeis I already cropped it in a little but I kind of like how her face and paw seem to emerge from the darkness around them and so I left it at this.. But I get how cropping it in would further emphasise Zoe in the photo.. Thanks!Check It Out
