From the posts above and the author’s responses I have to wonder. Were these images posted to get some real feedback or give the author the opportunity to validate some really bad shots.

These shots will fail miserably as Travel shots in any competition.

To me the shot is not well processed … I am on a calibrated monitor. Your highlights are verging on being washed out.

It is not a MACRO shot in the true sense of the word and the composition also pulls it out of the CLOSE UP class.

Try to crop for a headshot but do add some space in front of the nose.Check It Out

To me this is a typical Kodak moment. However if you wish to use this in a Salon you will most probably be disappointed.

The image lacks a clear point of focus … I am trapped between the shed and the ripple ring. Where do you want me to focus on ?
