It took me a lot of trial and error to get the right combination my 7D just would not let any infrared in, lucky my old rebel would, then most my lens would have a hot spot right in the middle. It’s just something different to play with.

I seldom do completely straight out of the camera. This one presented itself to me (metaphorically) and I zoomed way in to frame it. That is a partially Buried Rock Dahlia ( @dahliaambrose ),an area about the size of a truck is exposed.

LOL, that angle is a better perspective, though the bush looks so much smaller in mass than the over head shot.

Thank you @patography, @dahliaambrose and @robertapple.  This is a bearded iris and the name is Doe Z Doe.  I have always loved the flower and have too many varieties in my yard according to my husband.

Thanks. It definitely did the framing and leading line things. I just wish it was pointing towards something other than a street with cars parked for walkers/visitors. Still, it’s a nice place for a walk.
