Curious things, RG… It would be interesting to pull that plug! Perhaps the cone is there to help find the plug if the water gets murky?

Thanks, @admin-2! The idea came from my feeling that shooting “quick photos” is actually hunting with a non-lethal weapon (i.e., timing is everything). I don’t enjoy working that fast.

Thanks, Diane! I lived in Kentucky for 17 years. Natural Bridge State Park was one of my favorite destinations. Somehow, this was one of few “wide shots” I took. Instead, I was looking for the small scenes I often find attractive. This image was taken that same day.

@patrickw-2, Thanks! It is droplets of rain on a storm door with a porch light in the background. This is one of the first Kodachromes I ever took, around 1979. It is a bittersweet image for me. I lived there with my first wife. She died 5 years ago. I wish I could still talk to her.
