Hi,
I was browsing the Internet and i saw this collection of pictures on a photo site. I was drawn to their black backgrounds. I was wondering of any of you cold share some tips on how to achieve this look?

I was just experimenting with PhotoShop this morning. Working effects on the background using masks and inverting selections. Trying new things. What do you think? They’re not perfect, but I’m interested in their POTENTIAL. Just off the top of my head, no YouTube videos, no articles. Just plain experimentation.

Well, I have to admit March might not be the best month to visit Iceland. The weather hasn’t been cooperative. Lots of snow and rain with a huge storm and bits of sun throughout our trip. I was lucky the other day while at Thingvaler NationalPark where i got this at sunset with my cellphone.
