Pat, whales come here every summer to have their babies. Lots of tourism.

I have gone whale watching but don’t shoot many photos because there are so many on the net that are much better than mine. And, you are in an open boat with a bunch of active people. Another rea…[Read more]

I like sticks and stones except for the lack of stones. Maybe sticks and stoned would work here in Mexico. I am leaning toward “The Veranda” which is not very cute but is descriptive.

Hi Marty.
Thank your for your comment! I keep looking and wondering what the heck is the story? I found this in an old almost abandoned silver mining town in the mountains outside of La Paz, BCS, Mexico. English mine owners. It was leaning against the wall in an overgrown garden in the back of a restaurant. -

Thank you Beth! I live in life in the slow lane and I don’t watch much TV except food porn and photography stuff on youtube. Thanks for the info.

Hi Jim. I really like your BW processing here. I just removed a few things to lead the eye to the back. Not sure what you think.

Patrick, I added some texture to the window and it works. Thanks!

Hi Patrick! Good idea to show a little more of whence they came from. As you said, the sweet spot is 90 degrees from the camera for the best blur effect. I know I need to follow through. I was never much good a golf either. Everything I can shoot like this is in very crowded conditions so getting down on one knee could be a problem. I have…[Read more]
