I like your version, Anne. The pink flowers become the background with little or no green background showing as Valery mentioned. It just looks better to me as a close-up of the three yellow blossoms. The strip of green at the top of my second try adds nothing I can identify.

After I shot this and got a good look at it on the computer, I wished I had done a focus stack to get a little more of the pink flowers in focus.

I can provide a much bigger file, but I was asked to keep the file sizes down in deference to those with a slower connection.

Cool shot. I like the power lines disappearing “into” the mailbox.

Just a couple details:  First, there are several dark patches in the telephone pole that make it look a bit unnatural. Also, there is a speck of something living in the bright spot coming out the top, back end of the mailbox.

Other than those picky little details, I love this, Daniel!

I also don’t like the shadows from the two decorative elements on the peak of the roof. I’d like to try for a cloudy  day to eliminate those shadows. Great feedback as always, Frank. Thanks.

Spent some time looking at this and couldn’t come up with anything to constructively criticize. I love the shot, from an artistic viewpoint as well. The complex detail between the graceful lines of the veins is intriguing.

Thanks, Anne. I noticed that too – the branch seemed very large for the buds it was supporting.  I think it was more than one branch, if memory serves. I appreciate the edit. It looks great!
