This week POTW goes to @johnteate and his photo of the chair in beautiful dusty golden tones.

I think this image (the second one you posted) is visually most engaging because the placement of horizon is unusual, it’s not in the middle of the frame. Tonal range is also quite good.

I agree with Rob – only that reflection in the window doesn’t look nice. Other than that, it’s a well-caught candid portrait.

@jimronda3985 I think that the square crop would work great in this case. I also agree with what others have already mentioned regarding the contrast.
