Black and white focuses attention on what is essential.
I’m so grateful that the Skyhawks photo was chosen by the participants and site administrators! It’s an honor I never thought possible. I must say that all the other photos were equally deserving, especially the podium photos, which are very creative. I really like them! They’re two great ideas, enhanced by excellent technique.
Photo of a very unusual flower! The purple sarracenia is the floral emblem of the province of Newfoundland, Canada. It is a carnivorous plant that grows in very harsh terrain.
The focus is not perfect but the subject stands out well from the background and the colors are natural.

This house, built in 1845, is part of a historic site that has been occupied since 1740. I like to believe that the house and these trees have lived together through all four seasons since 1845, and that they have become very good friends !

I think a good photo starts with a good idea, a right technique and above all practice.
The blur was intentional from the start. It wasn’t necessary to recognize the people. It took several attempts.This award pushes my motivation a few notches higher! Thank again!
