@Admin thanks for the comment. Unfortunately this was not near a window. As far as the white balance, what are you suggesting it should be?
The event I was shooting at was around 11 am so I know it was not the most ideal time. I agree that the golden or blue hour would have been best. The blue hour probably would have been better since the sun rises from this side of the island. I agree that the clouds could have been better. The suggestion about using TPE was a great suggestion. I am going to have to look into that. I don’t have an ND filter and I think I should get one for situations like this.
Thank you everyone for your comments!
Let me know how I can improve.
Thank you
Maybe too much processing for my taste IMHO. Overall I like the composition except the stick in the middle of the bottom edge of the screen is a distraction.
Great shot, but I do think it could be a little brighter.
Shot has a nice color. I am not an expert at shooting buildings but I have been told by many that lines need to be straight when it comes to buildings. I think that there are lens corrections that can be done in LR.
I know taking pictures of birds and animals in general is not easy. I do think the picture needed to be brighter with some contrast. If it were possible, it would have been nice if there were less birds. May be 2 or 3 going after the food.
Wow what a capture! I know these type of shots are hard to get and do. But I guess in a perfect world it would have been nice if the pic was just a little brighter. A little tweaking in LR is all that is needed.
I guess with faster lenses and continuous modes would be best. Thanks fr the comments!
All together a nice shot but If I had to add some tips on how to make it better wold be to try B/W as the prev person suggested or may be trying more natural tones on the picture. BTW don’t forget to add the metadata on how the pic was taken on future post as stated in the rules of this forum.
Sorry here is the embedded image:

Not much to say about this pic because it is done so well. I guess as some one had mentioned, more contrast may make this pic better.
I would have zoomed in more to better focus on the thinking person.
I have to agree with the others on the focal point. I do like the B/W effect.
The new image is much better. Less busy and it shows the texture. The Prev pic was a little busy. I like the B/W affect.
I like the picture but if I had to make a change I would maybe show more of the home and less of the trees.
January 30, 2014 at 11:44 am in reply to: "Excuse me sir, But you seem to be out of peanuts." #120704I like pictures of animals. I know that is is really hard to catch them in the right pose. I would crop the top to bring the face about 1/3 down from the top.
I would cut back on the glare from the sun. It is too bright for the eyes. The shadows could be brighter.
I agree with bringing more area below the wheel, and showing more of the sign at the top.
