I despise those types of people.
Yes, I capture some garbage (most of it, tbf), but once in a while I’ll get a good one.
WTH are these types of forums if not to help amateurs and pros alike?

Wow, that is much better!
I love the contrasting bits of brightness in the foreground & the back wall.
Question: when you do this style of picture, do you under-expose the image or do you start with a lower amount of available light in the room/on the subjects?

I was not expecting that level of detail when I zoomed in.
Very well done!
Also, I think there are two eagles…

That would make a great mural on one wall of a living room or den.
Great shot & congrats!

Did a slideshow for the Cross Country Seniors for our HS this year.
There were five of them, so we decided to take their shoes & do some different poses.

WOW
The small version of this does not do it justice.
Was there some graffiti on that front wall?

The image is all watery looking & not sharp enough.
I was trying to do something rugged, jagged, & what-not with the hard edges of the blocks, but either my phone didn’t capture them or I unknowingly edited them out.

@admin No.
I usually stay in the “Latest posts” area so I can see the new ones without jumping back & forth.
The “New” image will sometimes not show if a thread has posts I have not read.

Here’s my take.
It was a good concept, but I failed on the execution.
I don’t care. I’ll post my failures as well as my successes.
Looks great small. View large if you want to see the ugh.

Still a little slow for me, but only for some threads (random, not specific ones).
I have noticed that the “NEW” picture doesn’t always show up for threads with messages I’ve not yet read.

Another issue I find is people’s perception of “great” images.
With the smartphone taking over, too many times I hear somebody say: “That’s a GREAT picture!”
Blurry, bad framing, bad exposure, etc.
That’s not a great picture, it’s a terrible picture. It’s a great sentiment, but the picture itself is terrible.
It’s the same thing with cars.…[Read more]

Jeff Anderson replied to the topic How to shoot Cactus? in the forum The Shark Tank Feedback Forum 2mo, 4wk ago
There’s no particular area that’s focused on the image you posted.
I’m not a cactus guy, but I would try to get the top portion tack sharp.
B&W/infrared/high contrast would probably look killer!

I feel your pain, Tony.
A few things:
First, study the camera manual forward, backward, up, down, left, right.
Second, choose a shooting subject you think you might enjoy & focus on getting good at that style.
Third, select one lens & shoot exclusively with it.
Fourth, don’t give up. When you get a picture or two that make you say “DAMN!”,…[Read more]

I hate mobile sensor for capturing sunsets with huge suns.
You cannot tell that the sun was enormous here.
