Ok so I did do a nice shot with a 30 second exp. But the stacking allows me to put more or less light where I want to. The shop it was done in was had lots of clutter and the floor was not pleasing. I like the edit but in the case of Lake Superior the water in your picture is to blue. The water on lake superior is more of a greenish color which makes in unique. To me anyway maybe your edit in B&W???

iso at 1600 and 1/60 The ice looks to have a blueish tint but that is the color of it.

I can see your point I do have some faster shutter speeds of 1/60 but the lost the clouds. I do have a few more of this shot and will try the 1:2 for sure

I had it on eye tracking and electronic shutter. I could be my unsteady hand I usually shot with a tripod. I have about 30 shots of this bird. Maybe go through them and see if one is a bit better.
