Nice. I find starting out it is best to put the sweet spot in the center until you get use to it. If you put it all the way to the corner, it will not be the lenses sharpest image. Gradually move the sweet spot away from center and test the shapness.

I purchased some accessories to help with macro photography for me this Christmas. Example a chip soldering arm/holder and plate. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1ZZ9Y2V

All I wanted for Christmas was my two front teeth. I received only one present. Can you make a tooth out of a lump of coal?

r1ch replied to the topic Equipment Question: Full Frame vs. Crop (On a Budget) in the forum General Photo Chit Chat 3mo ago
Personally, I have ff and crop on both Nikon and Canon cameras. My opinion FF is not “better”. Under some conditions and genres of photography it has some advantages, but I don’t think it is worth the expense if you are on a budget… It really depends on what you are shooting. In your example, you are downgrading your camera. 750 has 1/4000…[Read more]

I am not great at figuring out how to limit distractions in nature. In this case and many you don’t have the luxury of walking around to different positions because they are gone. But this one worked out well. Thanks

Thanks. I have not seen any collars or ear tags for any wildlife here but my eyesight is not that great and I don’t get close (long lens)

I don’t think I have seen one until I went up into the mountains and looked for them. There are also those white mountain goats, have not seen them yet.

Thanks, wish I would have seen more. I did see 2 others up in the mountains but they moved out of sight before I could get in position to shoot them.

So I went searching for big horn sheep up in Denver because they are in rutting season. Wanted to shoot them banging their brains out on each other. It was overcast for the most part and there was not good light. I only seen these two.
