Hi Wendy, long time no type, at least for me. Realistically you can get dust on the sensor when you remove the lens, dust get inside or on the shutter. But if you really want to try this and keep the area in front of the shutter/sensor free of dust you can use a macro bellows. The one in the link is for Canon it is $35. There are 4 screws to…[Read more]

They sent Kirk (Shatner) into space. They could keep DPReview open with little cost, cut out the new content or sponsor people to create new youtube content for learning, keep the forums up for next to nothing. They don’t care. I wish I could say I will not buy stuff from Amazon but that is unrealistic. I will not buy photo stuff from them. I…[Read more]

I am a little sad. I just looked at my DPReveiw profile and I joined in 2001, I believe that is when was looking to buy my first digital camera and eventually a DSLR, in which I decided the Nikon D100. Which was introduced in 2002. I was also considering a Canon D60 at that time but I had a couple Nikon lenses so I went with Nikon. Anyway. I…[Read more]

Hey Robert,
You said ” an AI looking through a database of thousands of images to learn and to create its own image”
There may be a day when this is a true statement, but if you read the article in the link, people are finding pictures of themselves in the AI output. They are able to recognize themselves. If that is true, AI may be using a few…[Read more]

First I live in the US and your laws may be different than mine.
AI for art is just another tool. I welcome new tools and do not fear them, but understand that it will change things drastically. Digital cameras and computers did the same thing. People who worked with chemicals and darkrooms are nearly all gone. People who use to operate AB Dick…[Read more]

But seriously I am not good at that type of photography,…[Read more]
