OOOOooo…good choice @recdavies! I love my Canon and its glass (it’s all in the bokeh.) Lots of good lenses out there for your canon, just be more conscious of the red line (signifying a professional lens and compatible for upgraded canon bodies) around your lens than anything. Although my 60mm macro was the best buy for […]

The fact of the matter is- Cannon is generally better for your wallet and Nikon is generally better for quality and camera performance. So in your case @recdavies if you want more bang for your buck, (I hate to say this) you may consider Cannon. But if you were to take it another step up, then […]

Canon, you won’t be sorry! Despite what @admin or @tomdinning say…! I love mine. @mopho I used the XT and XTi until last October. It was a good camera and it certainly served me quite well. But I went straight to a 5d from there so I can’t be of much personal help to you @recdavies although on […]

@recdavies thank you so very much!! @tomdinning Wow, Tom… someone thought it was a good idea to sell a car like this? Did he have rocks for brains? LOL Today, these cars are going for a fortune in North America. Some of the older Studebaker’s sell for well north of a million dollars. Obviously this one isn’t […]

Thank you very much :D! It’s an honour for me :)! I don’t know if I don’t over-process some pictures… maybe some people think I do it :p, but thank you very much :)!
Thanks you too, @recdavies :)!

Rachel @recdavies is back with some Welsh gentlemen who seem quite young and spritely to me but Rachel seems to think they are a bit past it. Just wait ’til your wrinkles start to show, Rachel! But as usual, you have given us another great taste of that beautiful country of yours and the people who […]

@recdavies Thank you so much for your support and kind words! Ah yes, that crop thing slipped past me there while I was processing, I do agree… @tomdinning I was a bad tadpole, spent most of my early life having my flippers whacked with a ruler from a grumpy nun, I am afraid. So, to answer your […]

@admin: Those crosswalk signs are so fun! (says this never-been-out-of-the-USA gal) @recdavies: amazing color in the railway building photo – gorgeous sky – did you use a polarizing filter for that one? great lines in the promenade photo & I like the processing on it as well! I have troubles with the corvids. In Spanish â€crow†and â€raven†are translated with the same word, but they have very different sizes! I saw the big one.
Thanks for the identification ;)! I need an expert like you, @recdavies , near me 24 hours at day xD, because I try make a web-page about ornithology and I have no idea about birds :p!

You are very lucky, @recdavies :)! I like very much these birds. I think that they are one of the biggest bird of prey in my town. I’ve only seen a bird (of prey?) bigger than a kite, an enormous black raven (corvus corax, Can It be considered a bird of prey?) who stalked to kites :p!
We have a lot of storks too and other beautiful birds, but I…[Read more]

@recdavies I agree with you. Both a photographer and a painter are artists. The only difference is the medium of choice, as both, I can tell you I can achieve similar results in different media and no one would be the wiser, biggest difference is the reproduction aspect of photography, so depending on the handling of […]
