Those are all fantastic photos!! Cheers to all the winners!
I really liked that shot too.
I find taking the random shots I’m presented with, take my mind off body pain and the errands I have yet to do… LOL!
Today I just shake my head because while the camera is sitting in my cup holder, I failed to take shots of two separate restored cars I drove by. Got an old truck last week, will eventually be posted.
Hooah! About a 1/2 mile of sidewalk was ripped up and they are now in the process of laying new concrete, block by block as they work their way from one end to the other.
27th Mid Week:
A ton of construction and repairs are happening all around the town, some shots from last week.

Outstanding photo of such a moment in time.
Week 27:
This Linux LX5 has been getting a good workout. At least a dozen shots this past week.
First is a truck turning around in the Fire Department parking area and as I passed by, I wasn’t gonna take a shot but saw the shadows and aimed the camera toward that direction… click. Came out better than I thought because I expected a miss when I got home to look.

While waiting on my wife to finish shopping at the local Aldi store. Nice clouds but when this formation was drifting by, took the shot. Picked up a cameo in the sideview mirror of my hand with the camera and some reflection in the window that was only cracked open.

Another atv drive-by while a tractor was brush hogging the field.

Congrats on the POTM!! Such crisp clarity.
As pointed out, the leading lines are key. I would recrop as a profile shot and eliminate all the land on the right, maybe just right of there the handrails end. Also, everything left of the nearest pole on the left. That left pole adds to the depth, along with the cable running center with the tracks.
I’d prefer the 1st crop. More vastness.
Stephen, my opinion is there are many photos posted daily all over the various forum topics on this site. It can be fairly overwhelming, especially in a thread where multiple people are posting their photos.
If you want to get specific input concerning a photo you want to post, the forum section called: “The Shark Tank Feedback Forum,” is the best place to start a discussion for a photo. Or a few threads, each with a photo of yours that you want to discuss about.
Week 26, Mid Week:
The American Patriot decided to pit-stop at our town for a couple days to restock and allow passengers time off the ship.

Next two are people I drove by and decided to add them to the MTaDW Project.

HA, Hooah!!
Great colors in the capture!
Amber, Welcome to Light Stalking.
Rykki, Welcome to Light Stalking.
Thank Dahlia. The middle or 2nd painter shot almost fell in the “miss” category. Pressed the shutter early, I usually like to center (breaking that rule) the main subject when framed by the window or buildings.
Stephen, Welcome to Light Stalking!
I can see a photo book titled, “Montana Doesn’t Photograph Well – The Rebuttal!”
Always great landscape photos!!
Hey Carl, Welcome to Light Stalking!
