The onion was added as a color spot to counterweight otherwise “bored” color pallet. Cheese/butter would serve the same role- good idea!

I can’t believe this one by @reyers didn’t get a pic already. In fact, I’m not sure why I didn’t immediately rush to this thread with it.

@reyers have you done any extensive testing?  i haven’t done any color comparisons with and without the filter cause i’ve been really happy with it.  i think i might have to play around.

@reyers I personally don’t think strict guidelines for post processing should just be limited to photojournalism.

I most shoot what would be classified as wildlife photography now, but since it’s really a form of documentary photography — i.e. journalism — I still follow the same strict ethics.
