I’ve read about it only in textbooks until now. They’re not a staple in the tropical belt of India. Amazing what a single, unseemly picture can teach an individual. Thank you once again for this, Dave!

The lovers seem to be affectionate to a point of grossly ignoring that a shutterbug has eyes upon them. Really made me happy with this one.

The summery vibe of the Finch, coupled with the winter white are helping bring out the best qualities of both. A wonderful picture!

Extremely sound advice, i must say. Additionally, there is are loads of teaching aids and resources online (a lot of them, on this particular website). Since your craft is a re-ignition of passion, I suggest you delve into the theory aspect of it all. It’ll no doubt strengthen your foundations.

I love inner-city water channels. There is a sense of unparalleled tranquility to them. The run down, grungy look is doing wonders for the pic. Good choice!

Zoom it to the center right area. Maybe you can highlight the details, while being true to the fundamental silhouettes and blocks that will bring out the picture in a wholesome way.

Tersha, really digging your Macros! This one is amazing as well! The cleanness of the implied skill at hand, contrasts the coarse imperfections of the thread pictured. A great example of ‘contrast-ing ideals’. if you will. Well done!

While your subject matter is no Mona Lisa, your photographic technique really brings him really close nevertheless. The saturation of Black and White makes the picture what it is. THAT, and the absolutely gargantuan violin the gentleman is holding – Kudos to the technique, more than anything.

Honestly awe-inspiring, Lessa! The colors complement the lighting, and vice versa. The yellow flower is exceptionally beautiful. The inner tendrils, he light pollen, and the soft lighting, really go a long way in making this picture!

It most definitely is, Rob! Although, I must tell you, it’s nearly 3,500 ft above sea level. This is an old picture from my trip to Leh, in Northern India. If I find more pics that are good, I’ll for sure upload them.
