I decided to try my hand at a urban grit portraiture and then decided to use a touch of HDR also. The results are here. I use NIK HDR Efex Pro. It is extremely easy to navigate and it offers subtle HDR effects as well as the usual HDR look. I really like the NIK products and they are seamless to use — I use them through Lightroom as plugins.
