BTW, GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program, not General, as it’s GNU Licensed.
I also noticed there was no mention of LightZone by Lightworks, which is basically a replacement for Adobe Lightroom.

studiojunkyard posted on the forum topic Maintaining Detail In RAW Converted to JPG? in the group Light Stalking Group: 12y, 5mo ago
One of the reasons detail, sharpness and quality is lost when converting or exporting from RAW to any other format (except TIFF), is that most other formats decreases the BIT Depth to 8, where RAW can be anything from 12bit to 16bit. EXR is another format that can be up to 32bit. As you would […]

In the respect I’ve had Designs for Layout’s I’d done taken to another Web Designer who was cheaper. In essence the client didn’t pay for the Design, and took the work elsewhere, which […]

Yes, I agree with you, but having your work ripped like that, and especially without consent or recognition is heart breaking. It’s for those reasons why I’ve implemented the ability to read Exif Information into our Content Management System, along with the option to Watermark images. I have recently discovered though, that even if someone […]
