Ive just started working with off camera flash and this was an image from my first model shoot, i would love to hear comments as off camera flash work is something I really want to get better at. Paul.
The shadow on her right side, needs to be softened a little more. Now, if you were trying to get a light side of the face on her left and a little darker on the right you pulled that off. It appears you photographed this in direct sunlight a rough gig to work in.
Since I don’t know enough information about this photograph and what you were trying to accomplish I’ll pretend I do and say, I would have worked to soften up that shadow on her right side a bit with a reflector or another slave flash, maybe shoot it with a flash on the ground facing upward to cut out that shadow under her neck a bit. Other than that, the photograph came out great!
