Hello,
I’ve been trying to think what FIRST photograph hooked me on photography…and I’m really not sure! But I’m very sure it began with National Geographic images, which I’ve always loved. I’m a big nature fan, it’s mostly what I take images of, although I try to diversify. Currently I have a very (underline that!) basic digital camera that I use, but plan on upgrading very soon. Until then, I make do. 🙂

Welcome to the group. Nothing wrong with starting with a basic camera. Check out the Monday Mobile Challenge, which limits postings to photos taken from and processed with phones. Phone cameras are basic digital cameras. And the postings on the Mobile Challenge show some of the excellent work that can be done.
