Hello all! I’m Iris, a student from Amsterdam. The first time I got excited about taking photographs was when I was 8 years old, and I captured two mountain goats standing on their hind legs about to clash horns in the zoo. I had a digital point and shoot camera with a huge shutter delay, so getting the timing on that right felt like a huge achievement! Now, I have recently bought my first “proper” camera, and I’m very excited to see what I can do and learn with it.

Welcome to LightStalking. I have seen that you have been participating with commentary. What a great start. Our critique forum, SharkTank, is like having a personal trainer, but it turned out, for me, that being on the other side, i.e., giving critique, was just as valuable. We also have non-critique forums that are tremendously fun. I hope you will pick a forum and start posting.
