  Hi there,
  I am not a photographer by trade but I’m a writer, and generally do my own shots for magazine and newspaper articles as well as my blog, The Dirt Diaries. Flower portraits are my specialty, but I also love birds, landscapes and gardens (of course!)

  Hello @lynngator and welcome to Light Stalking. We have a few accomplished photographers that do wonderful bird, flower, and garden pics. I agree with @albirder that you should look at and try the Shark Tank. There is a post at the top of the thread that explains the ST and its intent.
