        Hi everyone
I’m Gordon, very much an amateur where digital photography is concerned, but am keen to learn more about the various aspects. I’ve been taking photos since I was a child in the late 1950’s, and did, in the 80’s, take it up more seriously, but the cost of processing became prohibitive and so I went beck to taking snapshots again. I look forward to getting to know you all in due course and drawing on your expertise in order to become a better photographer Thank you for taking the trouble to read this.

          Hello Gordon,
It seems that we have a similar photography history – I started in the late 80’s. For me, the digital era obtains mainly the opportunity for post process. I never processed a film myself. The easy post process also changes the way we take pictures – easy focus stacking and bracketing for illumination (was not so much required for film) and etc. Good luck in obtaining your goals here.
