Just a quick hello to introduce myself. I used to shoot with film decades ago, but the costs of film and developing outpaced our income while the children were growing up, so I let it fall aside. Finally purchased my first DSLR in 2013 (Canon 60D) and am enjoying the process of rediscovering my “camera eye”.
Having worked independently as a web developer all these intervening years, I’ve developed a strong set of Photoshop skills and really enjoy the post-production process … bringing the vision from my mind to the screen.
Started a personal 365 project mid-November in which I am “seeing”, photographing and/or creating new images every day … results being posted at 500px: https://500px.com/denise_mclaurin Have uploaded a few of my favorites here.
