  I got interested in photography when starting out as a scientist. Had to take pictures of my projects but when using microscopes loved to see the patterns and colors. This started me to look more closely at what nature was offering and how to capture. Started out with B&W which makes you focus more on composition and patterns. Still love B&W best. Can find my pictures in 500px under john mclane. In pentax photography gallery
