Back in 1967 I bought my first camera when I was stationed in Vietnam. It was a 35mm pentax . I took my first pictures of the local people and was fascinated by their expressions I caught on film, I was hooked. Many years have gone by but the awe of stopping time in the now still remains in my heart. There was no First photograph, all photographs I see mine or others make me love photography more and more.

Hello @alfredo and welcome to Lightstalking (LS). We just missed each other in Vietnam. I left in ’65. I was with the 82nd Airborne Division. As a fellow vet I am glad you are here and I will look forward to seeing your images.

Thank u guys for the welcome. I will be taking macro shots as soon as I receive my 105mm macro( hopefully tomorrow).
I’m new to macro, soon as I get some decent shots I’ll post them. Sorry can’t post any Nam shots, lost them over there, long story. Again thanks for the welcome. Adios
