  Hi,
  
  I’m a retired manager/writer/illustrator who has always had a camera at hand. As an enthusiastic amateur, I now get to spend more time refining technique, learning new stuff, and working on creating mindful images.
  
  Right now I am shooting with a Canon 80D, having upgraded from an old Rebel XSi earlier this year. A couple of decades ago I had a Nikon F3 for film. Nowadays for film I use my venerable Mamiya C330.
  
  One of my things at the moment is shooting walls with texture and fixtures, like this example from last year.
