I like it…nice presentation…lot’s of character in his expression.
(PS. i’ve been there 🙂 )
Yes, the photo was taken hand held and indoors but the overall softness was intentional. With that said, I think I missed achieving my goal. I wanted to create a dreamy effect and tried to use contrast and blur tools to lead to viewers eye counter clockwise from flower to flower. I used photoshop’s blur tool and an adjustment layer for contrast adjustment. The slight glow effect in the bright white areas was done with an angel wash in filter forge 4.
Thank you all for your great input and feedback!
No…the vignetting effect is glare on the snow.
Thank you for the feedback 🙂
Thank you for the feedback. I definitely agree about the focus but I thought the lighting created a unique mood…what i thought doesn’t matter though if no one else gets it 🙂
Thank you for your feedback…I agree with the focus issue, I think it is insufficient lens for what I wanted to do.

ISO 100I agreed with the cropping comment, but I think I would have left some of the person in red to frame (bookend) the left side.
This may have been your intention but it looks a little understated to me…I think I would have played a with the contrast and vibrance a bit to make it pop
This shot was taken immediately after a hard rain. The drops of water gathered on the branch tips and seemed to capture the the sun burning through the clouds. The shot is pretty much what it it was except I did do a little color and contrast touch up in Photoshop. I used an 18-55mm lens and don’t really remember what it was set on for this shot. Camera and settings were as follows:
Camera: NIKON D3200
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 800
Exposure: 10/250Thank you for your feedback
Yes, sorry
