Great composition, lines, and although the horizon is centered, I think it works!

My husband and I bicker all the time. We call each other “The Bickersons” since it seems to be our thing. We rarely fight though. 🙂 [Probably because I am always right 🙂 ]

Ansel did a great job of capturing what he saw, and this is an awesome shot. I believe the rules are there to teach people how to see…He just SAW.
As much as I love monochrome images, in my opinion, the world-in color, has much more to offer toward “the greatest.”
On a side note, I got to go view +/-130 original prints of his at a museum on Wednesday, and listen to a lecture from one of Ansel Adams’ students. Very interesting, informative and the prints were very inspiring!

My “Zen” usually happens in moments…When I find the right shot, or when an edit that I had imagined in my head works out.
When is the deadline for this again? (Maybe I live in Zen and it has no sense of time! LOL)

As I mentioned earlier, portraiture is my least comfortable…this is our youngest son.

I didn’t shoot any of myself this last week, but I did get one of my youngest son-who actually posed! (Normally he sticks his fingers in his mouth and makes a silly face! It helped because I told him he could throw the rocks into the water after I got a good one. hehe)
**and I have no clue how to post a photo, but when I figure it out, I will post it!
