I’m kind of new to this. When I uploaded the picture to my album using the method of uploading the pic to my album and then sharing it from there, I used the original hi-res file, but it must have condensed it. Is there a way to upload it full size?

@camerasinger, when you say sharper palm trees do you just mean have a steadier hand (believe I used spot focusing on the trees) or a wider aperture to differentiate between the sharp tree and a out of focus (and hazy) peak?

I took this picture of the Pitons in St Lucia on my recent honeymoon, handheld with a Canon T4i.
